Summary Practice (Facebook)

Leake & Warren (2009) observe from the ‘Ohio report’ that students who sacrifice their study time on surfing the Facebook tend do poorly in their to obtain poorer academic results as well as their overall performance in school.

  1. Hi Kaiyao! :)

Saw that there weren't any comments here so I thought I would give my two cents' worth :)

    1) "surfing the Facebook" --> "the" should be omitted

    2) "tend do poorly" --> I believe this is a typing error :)

    3) "tend do poorly in their academic results" --> I felt that this could be better "tend to receive poorer academic results"

    4) For references, I think you should italicize "The Sunday Times" :)

    Great effort Kaiyao :)

    1. Hi Maeve,

Thanks for your constructive feedback. I already made the amendments accordingly.

Your English is pretty powerful and you are the very few I speak to who can articulate so well. I am quite envy though.
